Films that improve immeasurably on a second watch and with minimal homework
I first saw I Saw the TV Glow a couple months ago and though many of its images and its score and lots of moments in its performances stayed with me I really wasn't sure how I felt about it - it felt interminable despite not being a long film and in some parts almost daring the viewer to bear with it.
Anyway I felt the urge to revisit it but before doing so googled "What is The Pink Opaque?". The first result was very straightforward and easy to understand and now, besides getting more from knowing what I'm getting into this time, everything happening onscreen now makes tonnes more sense to this dummy.
Has this ever happened to you?
